Additives Product Portfolio Trifold

I spent my first internship working as a Graphic Design Intern in the strategic communications department at Michelman, a chemical manufacturing company outside of Cincinnati, OH. While there I helped update old literature to fit current branding standards, including the piece here. This trifold is used by Michelman's Coatings business unit to inform customers which products work best for them and why. It is often used at tradeshows, where reading at a glance is important.

Re-design Process:

grouped products by classification then alphabetically by solids type

improved text hierarchy & grid after re-creating in InDesign

removed distracting backgrounds fills & lines

clarified descriptions with help from the coatings and sales departments

re-styled product names with Michelman branding

improved glancibility by using tints of a color to show property strength level instead of number of dots

Poligrafika Advertising Campaign

I designed these ads in both Polish and English for Poligrafika, a Polish magazine for the printing and packaging industry. This campaign launched Michelman's first tradeshow presence in Poland.

Social Media Graphics

One of my duties as a design intern at Michelman was to produce the graphics posted across the company's social medias, mainly Twitter and Linkedin. This involved making graphics to support Michelman's products and presence at tradeshows, working with Michelman's other locations to make holiday posts, and especially working with Michelman India to make mock-up graphics to promote new products in the region.
