MOODIVATE | Stress & Mood Tracker App

The Problem

The goal of this app is to help people who struggle with anxiety or low motivation realize what causes them stress, and identify ways to re-motivate themselves through difficult tasks to better achieve their goals and get through their day. The app will use data tracked during daily events to provide personal suggestions for de-stressing and recuperating.

What makes this app different:

• calendar based

• has a more detailed mood scale than just "bad, okay, good"

• pre-generated tag or slider based data input

• anonymous community to share stress management suggestions

Existing App Benchmarking

I found and tried out the stress tracker app Welltory, and liked its factor tagging system. I also looked at the mood tracker app Daylio, to see how it handled tracking entries.
