Internship at Union Design

My most recent internship was at Union Design, a multidisciplinary studio in New York City. My responsibilties included producing motion graphics for multi-screen displays; stylizing imagery, maps, and architecture plans of commercial spaces for client websites and apps; producing digital and print graphics for client events; and helping maintain client sites through content management systems.

Brookfield Place Media Wall

Brookfield's New York Headquarters has a 4K multi-screen video wall leading up to their lobby entrance. It displays company facts and photos, as well as short screensaver-like transition videos between content sections. One of my duties was to produce these seasonal transition videos from stock videos, making them seamlessly loop and tile down the length of the display. I also made a few cinemagraphs to test how they would look on the wall. See this link for more detail and to see videos in the space.

Lerner Presentation System

I helped simplify and style floorplans, edit and upload images, and worked in CMS to populate pages for client presentation systems such as this one for Lerner, a commercial real-estate company in the Washington D.C. area.

Lyrical Intro Video Explorations

After learning to use the Plexus plugin in After Effects, I experimented with a few concepts for a short logo intro video for a client.

Residential Video Displays

A client installing display screens around their home requested a library of videos containing various abstract, inspirational quote, and nature scenes. I collected and edited imagery for video production, making sure they looped so that the client could display any video for any duration.
